Kemah - Seabrook Bridge

Race Start Time: 7:30 AM
Start and Finish: Kemah Boardwalk, 215 Kipp Ave, Kemah, TX 77565
Distance: 10K, chip timed
Course: Flat and easy on the Kemah Boardwalk and then the “Tough” part, 4 passes (2 complete loops) over the Kemah/Seabrook Bridge. Then, it's downhill (not really) to the finish!
Time Limit: 2 hours (strictly enforced)*
*Time limit is strictly enforced! Bridge races involve special permission and cooperation by local authorities, police and emergency response, and impact motor vehicle traffic. In order to keep doing these races we must comply with the limits set by those agencies. Runners who are trailing far behind may not be allowed back on the bridge for their final loop.
All finishers will receive a medal.
Registration Entry Deadline & Fees:
You must be registered by August 14, 2016 to reserve shirt size requested and get your name printed on your Bib.
This race is limited to 2000 runners and registration will close when that number is reached.

If you loose your bib, chip or you forget them at home there will be a $10 charge to reissue you a new bib or chip.

Awards will be presented at 9AM.
First Three (3) Males and Females in the following age groups will each receive a special commemorative award.
In addition, all first-place age group winners will have 250 RAS Perk Points added to their account manually after the race. Second-place and third-place age group winners will earn 200 and 150 Perk Points, respectively. Runners must have an RAS member account to receive and use RAS Perk Points.

Awards will be handed out the day of the race only. No awards will be mailed.
All Perk Points will be awarded after results are declared official or a week after the race has concluded, which ever comes later.
If there is an unforeseen circumstance that prevents awards from being picked up on race day, awards may be picked up at a designated location, usually one of the packet pick-up locations. Check with us after the race via Contact form.
Overall and Masters winners (top male and female) will be based on gun time. Age group awards for top males and females will be based on chip time. No double-dipping.
